During my recent stay at Hotel Columbia, I was pleasantly surprised by its strategic location, just moments away from the Platz der Luftbrücke Underground Station. This made exploring Berlin, including a quick trip to the lively Friedrichstraße shopping street, a breeze. The clean, non-smoking rooms were both comfortable and cozy, with warm beige and brown decor that made the space feel inviting - perfect for unwinding after a day of diving into the city's vibrant culture with my travel companions. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious German-style breakfast buffet that fueled our adventures each morning. The added touch of complimentary coffee and tea facilities, along with free Wi-Fi, made it easy for us to plan our day's explorations. Being only a short walk from iconic sites like the Columbiahalle events venue and the historical Tempelhof Airport added a unique twist to our itinerary. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like free toiletries and a hairdryer in our room, but I must admit that I would have preferred a more substantial soap option rather than single-use sachets.
